WELCOME FRIENDS
To McCloud’s Poodles N Doodles, I’m the owner, Andrea McCloud, also known as Amy. I’m located in Huntington, WV, we are a small, in-home breeder dedicated to raising happy and healthy puppies. My journey into breeding began unexpectedly when I welcomed Pixie into my life, discovering the intelligence and joy she brought to our family. Inspired by her love and loyalty, we share this experience with others through our breeding program.
Our parent dogs undergo thorough health and genetic testing, ensuring the production of robust, long-lived puppies. This testing instills confidence in the health of our puppies, backed by a comprehensive health guarantee against any genetic issues.
At McCloud’s Poodles N Doodles, we take a proactive approach to puppy care, implementing the BadAss Breeder curriculum for Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) from day three of their lives.
We promise to never sell our puppies to a pet store or wholesalers. We will never surrender our puppies to a shelter or rescue. We require all our adoptive families to promise to never surrender their puppy to a shelter or rescue for any reason at any time. McClouds Poodles & Doodles will always take back any dog we bred, or we will gladly assist in finding them a new home. All our puppies sold to pet homes are sold on a strict spay/neuter no breeding contract.

Studs
Any stud dog we use has been fully health tested as well. Each dog in our program is primarily a family pet and will never be overbred. They receive regular veterinarian care, are fed a high quality diet, and are groomed every 6 to 8 weeks.
Puppy Process
ENS begins on day 3 and continues through day 16. The process consists of 5 simple and harmless exercises, which are: tactile stimulation, held with head up, held with head pointed down, lying in the supine position, and thermal stimulation.

QUESTIONS?
When do you introduce potty training
We introduce a potty at 3 weeks old. We use the grate method along with litter boxes for potty training, as well as taking the puppies outside to the grass regularly when they are old enough. The puppies learn that there is a designated spot to go potty and will learn to keep the rest of their kennel clean.
Do you Crate Train?
We introduce a crate to the kennel at 4 weeks old. Our goal is to get the puppies familiar and comfortable with the crate. They can go in and out as they please and it normally becomes their favorite place to sleep. This creates a positive association with the crate, and makes it much easier for them to start official crate training around 7 weeks.
What is our Grooming Process?
Gentle grooming is done often on the puppies to get them comfortable with the process. Nails are clipped every week. Puppies are bathed, brushed and trimmed as necessary. We also do daily handling exercises where each puppy is held and touched all over their body…ears, mouth, tail, paws, etc. This helps the puppies become comfortable with being handled which will make future grooming much more enjoyable for everyone involved!
How Can I see more?
We are very active on Instagram! Pictures and stories are posted almost daily so you can follow along and watch our puppies grow. Find us @mccloudspoodlesndoodles
What goes home with each puppy?
Each puppy is sent home with a puppy bag. Documents in this bag include our sales contract, health guarantee, veterinarian records, Trupanion health insurance information, and AKC records (when applicable). We send home a blanket and toy with mama’s scent, as well as a chew toy and small bag of food.
Do you offer transportation?
Yes! If you are located outside of West Virginia, we have a couple of options to get your puppy to you. We can use a flight nanny who flies with your puppy in cabin to meet you at your nearest airport. This service typically runs about $700 and is a very safe way to get your puppy. We can also meet you at the Charleston, WV (CRW) airport or Tri-State Airport (HTS), if you would prefer to pick up the puppy yourself. Also available is ground transportation to almost any place in US.
How can I reserve a puppy from an Upcoming Litter?
To be added to our waitlist, please fill out a puppy application, located under the “Puppies” tab on this site. You will be contacted after your application is received!
